The client
Unico is a leading Brazilian IDTech company at the forefront of transforming society through digital identity. In 2022, the company embraced a new phase of growth and innovation by rebranding itself as unico.
The need
As unico prepared to scale its solutions and reach millions of users, it needed a new visual identity and product design strategy that could reflect its core mission: to simplify and secure people’s lives through technology. This included the challenge of aligning visual language with functionalities such as document signing, personal data protection, and full compliance with Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD).
The solution
Vicente Sulzbach led the redesign process alongside the in-house design team, crafting a new visual identity and digital product experience that expressed unico’s purpose and technological edge.
A key outcome of the project was the development of Genoma UI, unico’s design system that remains in use today. This initiative unified all user touchpoints under a cohesive interface, enabling scalability, accessibility, and trust. The new brand and product design helped unico solidify its leadership in the IDTech sector, driving both user adoption and market credibility.
