The client
Firstbase.io is a U.S.-based startup that helps global founders launch and manage companies in the United States. As part of its suite of services, the company launched FirstBase Agent — a platform designed to simplify one of the most complex challenges for growing businesses: staying compliant across all 50 U.S. states.
The need
In the United States, each state has its own set of compliance rules and timelines for businesses. Companies operating nationally must stay up to date with dozens of filings, tax schedules, and legal obligations — a task that is not only overwhelming but also error-prone. The vision behind FirstBase Agent was to put compliance on autopilot: offering users a clear, centralized view of their obligations and automating what can be automated.
The solution
Vicente Sulzbach led the product design from scratch, delivering the full UX and UI for FirstBase Agent in just over 30 days. Working with a fully remote, international team, the challenge was not only to translate a highly complex system into a simple interface — but also to bridge language, cultural, and operational gaps in a high-speed development cycle.
The final product empowers users to track and manage compliance status in each U.S. state with clarity and confidence. Smart visualizations, clean hierarchies, and actionable notifications made it possible for founders to stay in good standing without stress.
